A BCIS-endorsed course in Basic Coronary Intervention that will include lectures and angio reviews.
This course covers the Core Curriculum for interventional
cardiology and is best suited for trainees in their early years of
subspecialist PCI training (ST5-6).
Organised on behalf of the Training and Education Committee of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, this course has been designed for trainees who have completed their core cardiology training and are planning a career in Interventional Cardiology.
Delegates are encouraged to bring cases to present at the course on the following themes:
Coronary Thrombosis (de novo/stent thrombosis)
How adjunctive techniques (IVUS/FFR) changed management plan
Complications – how did it happen and how did we get out of it?
Anatomical Challenges (calcification/CTO/LMS/bifurcations/tortuosity)
Please send a short
synopsis of the case outlining the scenario and the learning points to allow
the faculty to allocate suitable slots.
